Privacy
The short version: we don't set cookies, we don't track you across sites, and there are no accounts. We only see your email address if you write to us or sign up for our newsletter.

Who we are
Fresh Grooves (fresh-grooves.com) is run from Sweden and is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions about privacy go to hello@fresh-grooves.com.
Visiting the site
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details for each request so it can deliver pages and stop attacks. We don't receive or store these logs ourselves. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure site (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Visitor statistics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, doesn't use your IP address to identify you and doesn't follow you to other sites. We only see totals, such as how many people opened a page and which country they came from. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing what readers find useful.
Your Women/Men choice. When you pick Women or Men, your browser remembers it in its own storage on your device. It is never sent to us. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
Fonts and images. Our fonts and almost all images are served from our own site. A few product pictures in our buying guides load straight from the brand's own website, which then sees your IP address as with any image.
Links to shops
Many links take you to a brand's or retailer's shop, and some are affiliate links. Once you leave our site, that shop and any affiliate network it uses may set cookies to record that you came from us. That is covered by their privacy policies, not this one. We never learn who you are or what you bought, only that a sale happened.
If you write to hello@fresh-grooves.com, the message is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to an inbox hosted by Google. We use your address and message only to reply and keep them as long as the conversation needs, then delete them within a year. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering you.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the Morning Drop, we store your email address, the date you signed up, your Women/Men choice (if you made one) and whether you open or click our emails. We use it only to send you the newsletter. You confirm your address by email before you get anything (double opt-in), and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe we stop sending at once and delete your address within 30 days. The list is held for us by Buttondown, Inc. (US), our email provider. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Social media
We post on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok and schedule posts with Buffer. If you follow or message our accounts, those platforms handle your data under their own policies.
Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare, Google and Buttondown are US companies. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to our use of it, or ask for a copy. Write to hello@fresh-grooves.com. If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se) or the authority where you live.
Changes
If we add something new, such as price alerts, we'll update this page first and change the date at the top.
